USDA's food distribution programs strengthen the nutrition safety net through the distribution of USDA Foods and other nutrition assistance to children, low-income families, emergency feeding programs, Indian reservations, and the elderly. This USDA Food Distribution site is supported through a collaborative partnership between Merced Community College, UC Merced, Merced County Food Bank and the wider Merced community. It serves UCM and MCC students, staff, and Merced County residents in need of critical food assistance that meet the household income guidelines set by the United States Department of Agriculture. Please refer to the income guidelines set by USDA.
