Health Services

Health Services provides comprehensive medical, mental health, and health promotion services to all registered UC Merced students. Services are designed to minimize the impact of illness, emotional distress, and injury on studies and work. Students can use our medical services just as they would their regular doctor's office. The facility is staffed by board-certified physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nurses. Students can use all services at the Student Health Center whether or not they have the Student Health Insurance Plan. Learn more HERE!

Associated Students of UC Merced (ASUCM)

Some helpful services provided by ASUCM:

  • Rent out calculators, portable chargers, LSAT, MCAT and CSET Textbooks

Services for Undocumented Students

Services for Undocumented Students is committed to empowering undocumented students to achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals.
Services for Undocumented Students has formed a partnership with the UC Immigrant Legal Services Center to provide FREE legal resources for undocumented UC Merced students and their immediate family members. For more information visit their website HERE.
Their office also provides grocery or gas cards, based on need, to our undoc student populations on a month-by-month basis. For more information visit their website HERE or their office located at the Monarch Center (KL 127). To contact their team, email undoc@ucmerced.edu.

Law Clinic

Providing confidential, student-focused legal support on landlord-tenant issues, personal legal matters, and criminal concerns. Our team empowers students with the knowledge, resources, and guidance needed to navigate legal challenges and make informed decisions, all while fostering a campus community rooted in equity, fairness, and support.

VIP On-Campus Service Program

UC Merced TAPS provides the following assistance in the event your vehicle is disabled while on campus. Free of service from 8AM - 4PM Monday - Friday, excluding holidays. VIP Hotline: (209) 228-8277
  1. Battery jump start
  2. Air for low tire
  3. Up to one gallon of gasoline to get to a gas station
  4. Water for cooling system or battery
